An old thresher with trees growing up around it in the Williams place.  Since this is down by the old Williams cabin I assumed he used it in his day.  The cattle seem to enjoy it for a scratching post now days.  Taken 6/12/2006.

What you're calling a "thresher" is actually a binder, Note the cutter bar in lower right. On the left is the binding mechanism where the grain bundles were tied after revolving canvases carried the cut grain to that point.

This is a wonderful photo! I love the motion in the tail and the bright, attentive look on the horse's face.
